Home / About

Morris Dental is a family owned and operated General dental practice located in Enfield. We provide treatment for patients of all ages with an aim to help create and maintain valuable healthy smiles.
Our dentists are a husband and wife team in Dr Rano Morris and Dr Brett Morris. They have been established in the area for over 12 years and are dedicated to ensuring patients feel at ease during their dental visits.
The best way to maintain a long term healthy smile and reduce the risk and stress of dental problems is to find a dentist you trust and commit to routine dental checks. Our aim at Morris Dental is to form long term relationships with our patients with the hope to avoid extensive treatment by encouraging healthy habits and identifying problems early.
We strive to work with the highest quality of instruments and materials and all laboratory work including crowns, implants and nightguards is done by local, trusted labs that we have worked with for years.

Sel graduated in dentistry from the Cordoba National University, Argentina, in 2012.She spent several years practising as a general dentist, treating patients across abroad range of dental care.
Sel has particular interests in oral surgery and wisdom tooth removal, root canaltreatment, and aesthetic restorative dentistry. She has pursued further training in these areas throughout her career, includingpostgraduate studies in impacted tooth surgery, implant dentistry, endodontics, orthodontics, and contemporary restorative techniques.
After moving to Australia, Sel completed the Australian Dental Council required examinations for recognition of her dental degree and became a member of the Australian Dental Association. Her interest in ongoing education and advances in dental technology was an important part of what attracted her to practising dentistry in Australia.
Originally from Argentina, Sel speaks Spanish and English and is happy to consult with patients in either language.
We’re very pleased to welcome Sel to the Morris Dental team. Her clinical
experience, commitment to continued learning and interest in modern dentistry are a great fit for our practice. We look forward to having her contribute to our family dental practice as we continue to invest in digital technology, contemporary techniques and high-quality patient care.

We operate out of a modern, recently renovated practice offering disabled access and plentiful off street parking. Patients can expect to walk into a calming front office with relaxing music and soothing décor. Our main surgery is also large enough to see the whole family without the kids waiting outside.
Patient comfort is very key to a successful dental visit, so we routinely invest in new techniques and technology to reduce common sources of stress for patients.

For patient comfort and better accuracy, at Morris Dental we utilise 3D scanners for taking digital impressions for crowns, nightguards and mouthguards.
This means that instead of uncomfortable putty moulds of the teeth, we can do a more accurate and quicker scan of the mouth.
Dental cleans with ultra sonic cleaners are a common source of discomfort for patients. We use EMS airflow polishing powder for most routine cleans as a first step in removal of soft plaque. This greatly reduces the need for ultrasonic cleans, which are used only to remove the stubborn hardened plaque deposits. Additionally plaque is more effectively removed from difficult to clean areas such as crowded teeth and patients with braces.

All our treatment rooms at Morris Dental have a TV on the ceiling. Our patients find this a welcome distraction during treatment, allowing the mind to focus on what is on the screen rather than the dental procedure.
As a family-owned and operated practice, we occasionally take time away for holidays and family commitments. During these times, our phones and emails may not be monitored, and we understand how stressful a dental emergency can be.
If you have an urgent dental issue outside our normal hours or while we’re away, you can find an emergency or after-hours dentist through the Australian Dental Association (SA Branch) website:
www.sa.ada.org.au/after-hours-and-emergency-dentists
They maintain an up-to-date list of practices across South Australia that can assist with urgent care when your regular dentist is unavailable.
We look forward to helping you again once we’re back in the clinic and hope you’re comfortable until then.
Thankyou everyone for your support this year and we wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy new year!
We we be taking a break for for a family holiday starting December 23, 2024, to January 2, 2025.
If you have a dental emergency over the break North Adelaide Dental Care will be open and can be contacted on (08) 8267 1894
